Credit & Debit Cards

Sams Certified Diamonds accepts the following major credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, Diners Club and Discover. When you place an order, we verify your card's fund availability through authorization with the bank. In some cases, we may contact you to request additional information, such as an Authorization Form and copy of your driver's license. These Precautions Protect your information and Prevent Fraudulent use of your card.
In compliance with our Address Verification policy, orders purchased via credit card will Only be shipped to an address that is on file with your credit card company.

In addition to credit cards, we also accept debit cards, which draw on funds that are already in your bank account. Some banks limit the amount that can be withdrawn on a daily basis, which can cause a delay in order processing. In this case, you will need to contact your bank to authorize a waiver for the purchase amount that exceeds your daily limit.


Wire Transfer

When you use a wire transfer as your payment method, funds are drawn directly from your bank account. Sams Certified Diamonds offers a 2% discount for all orders paid by wire transfer. You will receive an email with full instructions on how to complete the wire transfer after placing your order. If we do not receive your wire transfer within 5 days of placing your order, the order will be cancelled.

Some banks may charge a small processing fee for a wire transfer. It can take from 2 to 48 hours for domestic transfers to complete. When the funds have been received from your bank, we will send a confirmation email and will complete the processing of your order.

For orders over $10,000, we request that a wire transfer is used as the method of payment. If you prefer to use a credit card for orders over $10,000, please contact a Sams Certified Diamonds representative at 1-516-837-9367


Check or Money Order

Sams Certified Diamonds also accepts payment by money order and personal check. Personal checks usually take 7 - 10 business days to process and money orders take approximately 5 days. We will complete processing of your order when the check or money order has cleared our bank. For security purposes, we may contact you to verify your information.

Your name and address must be printed on the front of your personal check. If we do not receive the check within 7 days of placing your order, the order will be cancelled.



Domestic sales tax only applies to customers whose shipping addresses are in the state of New York.


Returns & Refund

At Sams Certified Diamonds we stand behind each of our diamonds, engagement rings, and fine jewelry products with a 15-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If you're not absolutely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it for a full refund or exchange.


Return Instructions

Follow the easy steps below to return a product:
1. Call for Return Code
Obtain a Return Code # from us by calling 1-516-837-9367 You will be asked to indicate whether you would like a refund, exchange,  or credit for your returned item.

2, Package your purchased item and original accompanying materials that were shipped with the item (including the completed Invoice, Lab Report / Appraisal or Diamond Certificate, if applicable) into a securely sealed shipping box. If we do not get back the Independent Lab Report / Appraisal or Diamond Certificate there will be a $150.00 Charge for this.

3. Insure and Ship the Package, Item back to:

To help ensure the security of your valuable shipment, please Do not write "Sams Certified Diamonds" on the label or on the outside of the box. Send it to

Orders less than $500 can be shipped via any carrier. We require that you Insure the item for the invoice price and request a return receipt to confirm delivery of your shipment to Sams Certified Diamonds.
Orders greater than $500 must be shipped via US Postal Service Insured and Registered Mail. We require that you insure the item for the invoice price and request a return receipt to confirm delivery of your shipment to Sams Certified Diamonds.

Returns Process

Returned products must arrive at our office within 15 days from the time an order is placed online or over the phone. (Send the item back Priority Mail.)  We will not accept returned items that are shipped without the Return Code #, improperly packaged, or uninsured. Failure to return the Diamond Certificate the Independent Lab Report / Appraisal will result in a replacement fee of $150.00.

All returned items will be reviewed for any damage, wear, alteration, engraving, or resizing that occurred after the item was shipped to the customer. If Sams Certified Diamonds determines that an item has been altered in any way, the item will not be accepted for return, and will be shipped back to you without the issuance of a return credit.

If an item is accepted for return, Sams Certified Diamonds will issue a refund less the actual shipping and insurance cost  when the item was sent to you, within 3-10 business days. Payment made via credit card will be credited back to the account. Wire transfer payments will be refunded via a company check. The exchange of an item does not extend the original return policy; the replacement item must be returned within 15 days from the original purchase.

Custom items such as custom rings, custom jewelry or any other special order cannot be returned. Additionally, design deposits are non-refundable.
